Baby Development - 3 months
Your Baby’s 3rd Month:
Laughter Begins
There’s nothing quite like hearing your baby laugh for the first time, and it will quite possibly occur during the third month. You may also hear much more cooing and even some squealing.
Developing Recognition
This month, your baby will be able to recognize your face, scent, and voice,
so it's important to keep talking to your baby as often as you can..
Muscles Strengthening
By now, your baby will probably be able to hold his head steady. If you
place him on his tummy, he might just show off with some baby “push
ups” which are strengthening his arms to ready himself for crawling.
Coordination
With the improved muscle and visual development, your baby will begin to
reach for toys, and he may be able to bring his hands together. A few babies
can even roll over at three months. This is a good time to start childproofing
the house if you haven’t already done so.
