Baby Development - 5 months
Your Baby’s 5th Month:
Self-Amusement
This month, you will find your baby discovering her hands and feet. Playing with these can sometimes occupy her for extended periods of time.
Sitting Up
Try propping your baby in a sitting position with pillows. You may just
find that she is beginning to balance herself in the upright position.
Name Recognition
This month, she’ll begin to respond to her name. As well, she’ll
be paying closer attention to your mouth as you speak. Remember to speak
slowly and clearly to help her develop her comprehension skills.
