Baby Development - 7 months
Your Baby’s 7th Month:
Word Formation
As your baby learns to make new consonant-like sounds, he’ll be able
to string them together to attempt to say words. You may even hear him say
“Mommy.”
Banging Objects Together
Give him lots of indestructible objects that he can bang together this month.
Pots and wooden spoons work perfectly. He’ll delight in the noise
that he’s making.
Grabbing Objects
With a sweeping motion, you baby will begin to pick objects up with his
hands. Soon he’ll be able to use his fingers to grab smaller items.
