Baby Development - 8 months
Your Baby’s 8th Month:
Crawling Continues
Most babies by eight months are crawling well. Some, however, never crawl and simply progress from sitting to walking. Also, remember that there are many different methods that babies use to get around. Some will crawl on all fours, other will scoot on their bottoms, and a few will use an inchworm technique. All of these are perfectly normal.
Beginning to Stand
One day this month, you might just be amazed when you see your baby standing
upright in his crib. Quickly, he’ll learn to cruise, taking steps
while holding onto the furniture or walls.
Passing Objects Hand to Hand
Increased dexterity will be an important milestone during the eighth month.
Your baby will learn how to pass a toy from hand to hand and will continue
to improve his ability to grab things.
