This is another lullaby that has evolved into numerous versions. The most
popular are called 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' or 'Incy Wincy Spider' and are essentially
the same lyrics with slight differences. This is one of those lullabies
that is perfect to be accompanied by with hand actions.
Version 1
The itsy bitsy spider climbed
up the water spout,
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out ,
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
So the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again.
Version 2
Incy wincy spider climbing up
the spout,
Down came the rain, and washed poor Incy out,
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
So Incy wincy spider climbs up the spout again.
